Dental Hygienists
Suzie
Suzie is from Minneapolis, MN. Her career began in 1976 working in private practice as a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. She worked in the General Practice Residency program at the University of Minnesota Dental School. From 1986-1992, she taught Dental Assisting at Moorhead Technical College in Moorhead MN. She attended Century College in White Bear Lake, MN, completing her degree in Dental Hygiene (1996). She joined Bassett Creek Dental in 1996.
Suzie is married to Kevin and has two children Calvin and Erin. She enjoys running, biking, walking her dog, skiing, yoga, gardening, and volunteering.
Kelly
Kelly is a Minnesota native from Golden Valley and earned her Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Argosy University. She has been practicing dental hygiene since 2011, bringing more than fifteen years of experience caring for patients in both the Twin Cities area and Boston, Massachusetts.
Kelly joined Bassett Creek Dental in 2016 and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, preventive dental care in a comfortable and supportive environment. She is known for her gentle chairside manner, thorough approach to care, and commitment to patient education, helping individuals and families understand the connection between oral health and overall wellness. Kelly values building long-term relationships with her patients and striving to make every visit a positive experience.
She currently resides in the Twin Cities area with her husband and their three children. Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys being an active mom, staying physically active, and spending meaningful time with her family and friends.
Andie
Andie joined our team after graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2022 with her Bachelor of Science degree. Minnesota born and raised, she grew up in Elk River and now resides in Maple Grove.
Family time is the best time for Andie. Her favorite role in life (outside of being a dental hygienist) is being an auntie, as her 2 older sisters both have young children. She also enjoys her time with friends & any time she can get up to the family cabin. Come in to see Andie & she’ll treat you like family!
Kayla
Kayla is originally from the Wisconsin Dells area and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2022 — achieving her childhood dream of becoming a dental hygienist. She joined BCD shortly after graduation alongside her coworker, Andie.
When she’s not in the office, Kayla loves spending time with friends and family, exploring local coffee shops, and discovering new hiking trails. She also enjoys kayaking, going bowling, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers!
Barb
Barb grew up in Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and received her Dental Hygiene Degree in 1990. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts in 1998 (from the University of St. Francis) Barb currently lives in New Brighton with her husband and has two sons. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for walks, spending time at the cabin, and gardening.
Ally
Ally earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2018. In 2020 she completed her MBA from Concordia University, St. Paul. She’s been with Bassett Creek Dental since 2023.
In her free time she likes going on wine tasting trips with her husband, baking, and has recently started cross country skiing.
Julia
Julia is a University of Minnesota alumni, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Her favorite part of being a dental hygienist is connecting with patients and oral health education.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking a workout class, cooking, and reading.
Callie
Callie earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2021, along with her Master of Dental Therapy in 2022 through the dual degree program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She worked at a public health community clinic immediately following graduation and joined Bassett Creek Dental in 2025 where she now practices full time as a dental hygienist.
She lives in Golden Valley with her husband, Andrew. In her free time Callie enjoys running, baking, reading, watching Survivor, and spending time with family and friends.
Monica
Monica began her dental career as a dental assistant in 2018, where she discovered her passion for patient care and oral health. She went on to attend Century College, earning her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2021. Continuing her education, Monica completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2022 through Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Outside of the office, Monica enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping and exploring national parks, cooking, reading a good thriller, and getting outdoors any chance she gets.
