Take it from Hermey, and Take Care of Your Smile!

As we approach the end of the year, there are many things we can count on. The frenetic pace of the holiday season, bone-chilling cold of a Minnesota winter, snow and ice covered roads and the annual telecast of “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” starring Hermey, the misfit elf who wants to be a dentist! We know, it’s really about a reindeer that saves Christmas, but you can’t help but love the elf concerned about everyone’s teeth.

This is also a time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. As we look back on the past year at Bassett Creek Dental, we are grateful for the trust our patients have given us to care for their oral health. As time goes on, our patients become our friends as we laugh and cry together about life’s ups and downs. We take this trust very seriously as we partner with our patients to help them make decisions that impact not only their dental condition but decisions that impact their overall health. When Rudolph and Hermey decide to partner together, Rudolph says “you wouldn’t mind my red nose” and Hermey replies, “as long as you don’t mind me being a dentist.” It was a partnership destined for greatness.

Gratitude for our staff is also important to recognize. Starting in 1966, from a small office above the strip mall on Highway 100 and 36th Ave. N. to our current location, we know that without our caring staff, Bassett Creek Dental would not be in existence today. This staff relationship of shared core values is why we choose to work here.

We want you to also take the time to plan for the future in reevaluating your dental benefits. Be sure to check if there are any treatment needs that can be addressed this plan year to take advantage of remaining unused benefit dollars. Don’t forget to look to the future for tax savings with your medical savings account allocation.

Like Hermey, who turns the Abominable Snow Monster into a happy creature through quality dental care, we want to do what we can to help you stay healthy.  Have a safe and happy holiday season from all of us at Bassett Creek Dental.
