We get it, sometimes we skip brushing, however, in 2020 make it your goal to brush every morning and every night. Brushing your teeth helps to remove harmful bacteria that if left on the teeth can harden and turn to plaque. This plaque build-up can then lead to tooth decay.
Flossing - make it a priority every single day. It takes up very little time and you can multitask while you do it! Keep floss nearby while you are watching television, while you take a bath, getting ready for bed, etc. Remember if it is within sight you are more likely to do it!
Avoid Sticky Sugary Foods
Sticky sugar foods do just that, they stick to your teeth and leave a coating of sugar on the teeth which leads to bacteria build-up. Do your best to simply avoid these types of foods.
Avoid Foods and Drinks That Stain Teeth
Keep that smile pearly white by avoiding foods and drinks that are known to stain teeth. Common foods/beverages that stain teeth include; red wine, coffee, tomato based sauces, soda, soy sauce, etc.
